Omri Bar

I'm an applied AI research scientist and manager with 12+ years building machine learning systems across computer vision and NLP. I care about closing the gap between research and real-world impact. Most recently as the founding CV engineer at Theator, where I built and led the ML research team. I've published dozens of peer-reviewed papers, all from industry roles, across top conferences and journals (ICCV, MICCAI, Nature Medicine, and others). I currently also serve as an advisory board member and ML consultant at ClearCam, providing strategic guidance across AI research and software development. Outside work, I'm drawn to hands-on crafts. I make my own wine and enjoy hand-tool woodworking.
